River Ridge got themselves on the board against Zephyrhills on Wednesday, but Zephyrhills never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Zephyrhills Bulldogs. The Royal Knights haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Tommy DeLoreto was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Jager Golden was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

River Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Zephyrhills struck out ten times.

River Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Zephyrhills, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge is headed away from home for the first time to take on Lecanto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zephyrhills, they will venture away from home to face off against Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
