Basketball Game Preview: Crestwood Knights vs. Belton-Honea Path Bears

Having just played yesterday, the Crestwood Knights will jump right back in to play the Belton-Honea Path Bears at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Crestwood is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lower Richland on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Crestwood took a blow against Lower Richland, falling 62-17. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Belton-Honea Path had to suffer through a 79-0 loss at the hands of Westside. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Rams are ranked 23rd).

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Belton-Honea Path, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
