Basketball Recap: Rising Sun Comes Up Short

Rising Sun lost against Patterson Mill back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rising Sun Tigers took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Patterson Mill.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Patterson Mill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophia Trinh, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Madsen, who earned eight points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Rising Sun's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Patterson Mill, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Rising Sun will look to defend their home court on Friday against Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. As for Patterson Mill, they will head out to take on North Harford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
