Basketball Recap: Cottage Grove's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cottage Grove waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 57-44 win over the Molalla Indians. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Indians on December 4th, they had to take a 44-32 defeat.

Cottage Grove's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Molalla, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cottage Grove will face off against Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Molalla, they will square off against Tillamook at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
