Soccer Recap: Payette Comes Up Short

Payette managed to keep up with Weiser until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pirates came up short against the Wolverines, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Weiser this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in September.

Payette's loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Weiser, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Payette is set to square off against their familiar foe McCall-Donnelly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Weiser will face off against rival Fruitland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
