Basketball Game Preview: Anderson County Bulldogs vs. Burlington Wildcats

Anderson County has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Burlington has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Anderson County Bulldogs will host the Burlington Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Anderson County against Central Heights as the team secured a 70-35 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Noah Porter was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 14 on his way to 24 points along with five rebounds and five steals. His evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Brylan Sommer was another key player, going 7 of 12 en route to 19 points.

Meanwhile, Burlington beat Santa Fe Trail 65-53 on Monday.

Anderson County's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Burlington, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
