Soccer Recap: Trinity Victorious

Trinity kept a clean sheet against South Fayette on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Lions 1-0. Given Trinity's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 135th, while South Fayette are ranked 311th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for South Fayette, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against Canon-McMillan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Fayette, they will head out to face off against Upper St. Clair at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
