Basketball Recap: Lovejoy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lovejoy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hallsville Bobcats by a score of 44-41 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Leopards have suffered since December 27, 2024.

Lovejoy's loss dropped their record down to 28-6. As for Hallsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Lovejoy nor Hallsville have any future games scheduled.
