Recap: West Seneca East Trojans vs. Cheektowaga Warriors
The West Seneca East Trojans lost against the Cheektowaga Warriors back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Seneca East took a serious blow against Cheektowaga, falling 71-41. West Seneca East has not had much luck with Cheektowaga recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why West Seneca East lost, one person who can't be blamed is Devon Madding. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Jasinski, who scored seven points along with two steals.
West Seneca East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cheektowaga, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Seneca East will challenge Maryvale at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Maryvale is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Cheektowaga, they will head out on the road to take on Lake Shore at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Shore comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
