Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Osage). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Chrisman Bears 14-12. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Fort Osage's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Chrisman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Fort Osage is taking a road trip to face off against Oak Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chrisman, they will host Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
