There's no place like home for Nashville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past the Pinckneyville Panthers to the tune of 55-7 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Leading Nashville to victory were Evan Kroeger and Cole Stiegman. Kroeger rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns, while Stiegman threw for 110 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. Gavin Birkner also deserves some recognition as he posted his first receiving yards of the season.

Nashville's run defense was locked in: Pinckneyville could only muster 1.9 yards per carry. The Hornets' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.5.

Nashville pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points over those games. As for Pinckneyville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
