Volleyball Recap: Joliet Central Find Success

Joliet Central won the last time they faced Bloom and things went their way on Thursday too. The Steelmen skirted past the Blazing Trojan 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Steelmen.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Joliet Central got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 24-26, 15-9.

Camryn Brown had a dynamite game, getting 17 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Joliet Central has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Bloom, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Joliet Central is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Kankakee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloom, they will take on Thornton Fractional South at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
