Basketball Recap: Ascension Episcopal Takes a Loss

Ascension Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Teurlings Catholic Rebels. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Ascension Episcopal this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-29 last Friday.

Ascension Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Teurlings Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Ascension Episcopal will challenge Basile at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Teurlings Catholic, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westminster Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
