Green Level put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Apex Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Green Level was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Green Level found their leader in sophomore Madison Simmons, who had 15 digs and three aces.

Green Level was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Apex saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luci Deese had seven digs and two aces.

Green Level's win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Apex, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.

Green Level has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against D.H. Conley on the 6th. As for Apex, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Panther Creek on the 7th.
