Lawrence County entered their tilt with Tullahoma on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Tullahoma. This was a revenge game for Lawrence County: when they faced off against Tullahoma back in March, they had to take a 8-7 loss.

Elizabeth Hagan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Laney Kate King, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Lawrence County pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Tullahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.

Lawrence County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 loss against Marshall County on the 6th. As for Tullahoma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Franklin County on the 6th.
