Softball Recap: Darlington Takes a Loss

Darlington fell victim to West Florence and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Knights. The Falcons have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Darlington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for West Florence, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Darlington will head out to face off against Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for West Florence, they will head out on the road to challenge Ridge View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Blazers at the right time seeing as the Blazers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
