Overlake and King are an even 4-4-2 against one another since November of 2018, but likely not for long. The Owls will head out to take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. King's took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Overlake, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Overlake narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Bellevue Christian 2-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 goals the game before, King's was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of South Whidbey by a score of 1-0. King's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Overlake's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for King's, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Overlake skirted past King's 1-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Owls repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
