Basketball Recap: Royse City Takes a Loss

Royse City was the 63-55 winner over Rockwall when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royse City Bulldogs fell to the Rockwall Yellowjackets 66-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (58), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Royse City and nudges their season record down to 9-13. As for Rockwall, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Royse City will welcome Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Royse City has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three games. Rockwall has already played their next match (against Longview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
