Volleyball Recap: Stamford Black Knights vs. St. Joseph Cadets
Stamford lost against St. Joseph back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Stamford Black Knights came up short against the St. Joseph Cadets, falling 3-0. The Black Knights haven't had much luck with the Cadets recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Stamford was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made St. Joseph work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 26-24.
St. Joseph found their leader in underclassman Gina Coppola, who had 13 digs.
Stamford now has a losing record at 9-10. As for St. Joseph, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
As of now, neither Stamford nor St. Joseph have any future games scheduled.
