Baseball Recap: Alamo Heights Comes Up Short

Alamo Heights lost against Canyon back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Alamo Heights Mules fell just short of the Canyon Cougars by a score of 4-3. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alamo Heights got a good showing from Bodoin Ryals, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Jack Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Bader, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Alamo Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Alamo Heights is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against O'Connor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon has already played their next match (against Cornerstone Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
