Michael Parks put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out three batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Cranston West is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-9 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Parks and Cranston West will take on North Kingstown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Parks had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in May of 2024 7-1. Could another big game from him be enough to change the outcome this time?
