Cranford lost against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cranford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Cranford will take on Johnson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they will square off against Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
