Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin was the 54-38 winner over Crestline when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Elgin Comets took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crestline Bulldogs.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Crestline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-9.

The future could be bright for both Elgin and Crestline: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Elgin will try to hand Benjamin Logan their 11th-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crestline will look to extend St. Peter's eight-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
