Wilson's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Lakewood Gators by a score of 12-9. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.

Zoey Miller was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sakura Jordan, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lakewood, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

The future could be bright for both Wilson and Lakewood: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Wilson will look to extend Crestwood's six-game losing streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lakewood will try to hand Richland Northeast their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
