Volleyball Recap: Portsmouth West Takes a Loss

Portsmouth West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Eastern Eagles. Senators fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Monday.

Portsmouth West may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Portsmouth West's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastern, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Portsmouth West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against South Point on the 27th. As for Eastern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Wheelersburg on the 26th.
