Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Broadway). They put the hurt on the Rocktown Raptors with a sharp 6-1 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Broadway needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Broadway now has a winning record of 4-3-3. As for Rocktown, they dropped their record down to 0-8-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Broadway will welcome Harrisonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocktown, they will head out to challenge East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocktown will be up against East Rockingham's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
