Corning-Painted Post never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Union-Endicott on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Corning-Painted Post's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Union-Endicott, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
