Baseball Recap: Kearns Takes a Loss

Kearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Taylorsville Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly ten runs.

Kearns saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Rodarte, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Rodarte's first of the season.

Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Taylorsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

While Kearns had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
