After a string of four wins, South Lyon's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 5-1 to the Walled Lake Northern Knights. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

South Lyon's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Walled Lake Northern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5-1 record this season.

South Lyon is taking a road trip to challenge Glenn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.03 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Walled Lake Northern, they will face off against Grand Blanc at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
