Basketball Game Preview: Baldwin Bulldogs vs. Eudora Cardinals

Baldwin hasn't had much luck against Eudora recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Baldwin Bulldogs will take on the Eudora Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Baldwin has six straight victories, Eudora has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Baldwin will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Wellsville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Baldwin claimed a resounding 73-44 win over Wellsville. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Cooper Carr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Leo Schoenberger, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Eudora challenged Paola on Friday. Eudora took a hard 54-35 fall against Paola.

Eudora now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Baldwin, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Baldwin strolled past Eudora in their previous meeting last Friday by a score of 61-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Baldwin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
