Basketball Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

Pioneer was the 70-62 winner over Olean when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneer Panthers took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olean Huskies.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Olean, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Pioneer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olean, they will challenge Holland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Holland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
