Volleyball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends CHESS Christian's Winning Streak

CHESS Christian suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Mars Hill Academy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mars Hill Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-9, 25-7.

CHESS Christian's offense was headlined by Lydia Young and Lillian Hunley, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Greta Miron and her four assists. Finally, Esther Carter kept CHESS Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
