Soccer Game Preview: Kerman vs. Exeter

The Kerman Lions will challenge the Exeter Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kerman is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Washington Union on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Exeter). Everything went their way against Central Valley Christian on Friday as Exeter made off with a 7-4 victory. With the Monarchs ahead 4-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Exeter's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 6-7-1. As for Kerman, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-3.

Kerman was able to grind out a solid victory over Exeter in their previous matchup on January 10th, winning 3-1. Will Kerman repeat their success, or does Exeter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
