King's Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Milpitas, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Trojans 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted against the Trojans since March 2, 2024.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day King's Academy got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-16, 22-25, 15-13.
