Basketball Recap: Nekoosa Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wisconsin Dells, Nekoosa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Pittsville Panthers by a score of 62-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Papermakers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Nekoosa is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Pittsville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nekoosa has already played their next game (against Adams-Friendship), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pittsville has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Almond-Bancroft.
