Basketball Game Preview: Hatch Valley Bears vs. Hot Springs Tigers

Hatch Valley is 0-10 against Hot Springs since February of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hatch Valley Bears will head out to face off against the Hot Springs Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Hatch Valley is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Thursday. They were outmatched by Hot Springs and fell 67-36. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Tigers are ranked 47th).

Hot Springs is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. Hatch Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-17.
