Basketball Game Preview: Clarke Indians vs. Creston Panthers

The Clarke Indians will take on the Creston Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, Clarke came up short against Davis County and fell 75-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (58), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Creston had just enough and edged Harlan out 48-46 on Friday.

Clarke has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Creston, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Everything went Clarke's way against Creston in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Clarke made off with a 66-46 win. Does Clarke have another victory up their sleeve, or will Creston turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
