Brookesmith had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Paint Rock Indians 65-37. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brookesmith pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Paint Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookesmith will head out to take on Oglesby at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Brookesmith's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Paint Rock, they will head out on the road to square off against Garden City at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garden City will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Paint Rock surely won't give up without a fight.
