Basketball Recap: Richwood Comes Up Short

Richwood lost a heartbreaker to Carroll when they met back in February of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Richwood Rams fell just short of the Carroll Bulldogs by a score of 42-39. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Richwood's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Carroll, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-13.

Coming up, Richwood will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sterlington at 6:00 p.m. As for Carroll, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-14 defeat against Wossman on the 8th.
