Football Recap: Palisades' Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Palisades extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jack Thomas. The Dolphins strolled past the El Camino Real Royals with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-18 thanks in part to Thomas, who threw for 310 yards and three TDs while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was King Demethris, who picked up 139 receiving yards and one score. His longest reception was for an incredible 93 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palisades' defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Enzo Allen with two.

Although El Camino Real took the loss, they still got scores from Shane Bogacz and Gabriel Varga.

Palisades' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for El Camino Real, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palisades will head out to square off against Mary Star of the Sea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Camino Real, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Birmingham at 7:15 p.m. on October 3.
