Bryan came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against George Ranch, but Hayden Drinkard wouldn't allow it. The Longhorns came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 21-11 on Saturday for which the team can thank Drinkard, who rushed for 128 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 125 rushing yards dating back to last season.

One reason for the win was George Ranch's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Luke Diamond, Chinedu Umah, and Chad Reynolds, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Despite the loss, Bryan still got an impressive performance from Levert Wallace Jr, who rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries.

The win got George Ranch back to even at 2-2. As for Bryan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

George Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 36-14 loss against Foster on the 27th. As for Bryan, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Copperas Cove at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Bulldawgs have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
