Football Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

Windham played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Richmond Heights Spartans. The Bombers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Windham is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Richmond Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham will head out to take on Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Skippers' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Bombers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Richmond Heights, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Mogadore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
