Soccer Recap: Randleman Comes Up Short

Randleman lost against Asheboro back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Randleman Tigers lost 5-1 to the Asheboro Blue Comets. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Randleman and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Asheboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randleman will take on West Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Davidson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Randleman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Asheboro, they will face off against Southeast Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Asheboro will be up against Southeast Guilford's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.25 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
