Basketball Recap: Mt. Markham Triumphs

Mt. Markham came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 55-52 win from a begrudging Mustangs squad. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since December 5, 2023.

The win got Mt. Markham back to even at 3-3. As for Little Falls, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Markham will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Holland Patent at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Little Falls, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Sauquoit Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th.
