Soccer Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Fremont Firebirds came up short against the Santa Clara Bruins and fell 3-1. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Joel Robles, who's now up to three this season.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Santa Clara, they moved to 5-3-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Fremont didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Los Altos on the 15th. Santa Clara has also already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Wilcox on the 15th.
