Football Recap: Ashton Leach and Luke Males Pace Glen Rose Defense + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Glen Rose duked it out with Brownwood on Friday. The Tigers fell 34-28 to the Lions. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Glen Rose didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ashton Leach and Luke Males. Leach is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Brownwood's side was Ryder Ribitzki, who picked up a sack, made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

Glen Rose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Brownwood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glen Rose will venture away from home to take on Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brownwood, they will challenge La Vega at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
