Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Gets the Win

Campolindo saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Valley Vikings 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Defeat or not, Valley got some senior leadership from Laione Eteaki and Leonardo Lopez Dominguez. Eteaki had five digs and two blocks, while Lopez Dominguez had 15 digs and six assists. Eteaki is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 19 games he's played dating back to last season.

Campolindo's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Campolindo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Clayton Valley Charter on the 20th. As for Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Virgin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on April 1.
