Flag Football Recap: South Effingham Takes a Loss

South Effingham fell victim to Jenkins and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 33-0 loss at the hands of the Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Warriors are ranked 11th).

This is the second loss in a row for South Effingham and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Jenkins, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

South Effingham will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Glynn Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 3. As for Jenkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Hampstead at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
