Flag Football Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

Galt hasn't had much luck against Liberty Ranch recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Galt took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They secured a 10-6 W over Bradshaw Christian. The score was all tied up 6-6 at the break, but the Warriors were the (much) better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over the Pride. Considering the Hawks have won six contests by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Galt's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Liberty Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Galt suffered a grim 31-8 defeat to Liberty Ranch in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
