St. Paul posted their closest victory since September 11th on Saturday. They skirted past the Celina Bulldogs 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Flyers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day St. Paul got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-18.

St. Paul can attribute much of their success to Bella Guerra, who had eight digs and two aces. Aubrie Bogard also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: St. Paul was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Celina only served seven.

St. Paul's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Celina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

St. Paul has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Plymouth on the 30th. As for Celina, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bath on the 30th.
